Good morning to me! I had awakened wondering why I keep putting things off. I felt that complacency was not my friend. Illuminating thoughts arose from this box called a computer. I googled the word complacency, and this is this first thing that popped up on my screen.
Definition, Complacency: a feeling of smug or uncritical satisfaction with oneself or one's achievements. Adjective: pleased, especially with oneself or one's merits, advantages, situation, etc., often without awareness of some potential danger or defect; self-satisfied: The voters are too complacent to change the government.
Wow! Nothing like looking in the mirror first thing in the morning.
I decided to search for the opposite of complacency. Dissatisfied, anxiety and humble were three words that stood out to me. What, dissatisfaction and anxiety are my friends? Motivation and courage come from such unexpected parts of life.
"Complacency happens almost without notice. Check and renew your heart daily" Jim George.
Be brave and fierce but always remain humble.
